The SIGMA Research Workshop for PhD Students
The objective of this workshop is to align the SIGMA research topics and the research interests of PhD students, connect researchers from different schools to work together on common topics, focus on grand challenges, test the concept with the doctoral programmes in each school, and look for possible ECTS recognition. It also aims to review the structure of the workshop: fewer lectures, more working sessions, presentations by students and creation of a database with the research projects.
Joint research on Health, Long-Term Care and Ageing
The "Health, long term care and Ageing" Research Group aims to undertake high quality research and develop research capacity on ageing, long term and health issues.
An international conference, one workshop and a special session dedicated to "Young and early career researchers", organized every year, provides to researchers a friendly environment to present and discuss their latest research on "Health, long term care and Ageing". Research topics are interdisciplinary (innovative health, savings and insurance programmes, pension risks sharing and distribution among generations, ageing and digital innovation, active ageing and social inclusion).
