Topic

In 2015, 193 countries agreed 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to create a better, fairer world by 2030. As defined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the goals aim to end poverty, reduce inequality and protect the environment.

Businesses must play a key role in achieving them – but the challenges are considerable. New paradigms in business models and mindsets are required, together with transformational leaders who put the SDGs at the heart of their management approach.

This course supports participants to rethink international management from the perspective of the SDGs.

Course Structure

In this course with synchronous and asynchronous online sessions will cover topics to best prepare participants to work in international, cross-institutional teams to develop a best-practice case study on how a selected company or organization is addressing the SDGs, guided by assigned supervisors from SIGMA Alliance universities (Esade, Copenhagen Business School, Hitotsubashi University, Singapore Management University, University of St. Gallen, Paris Dauphine University and Vienna University of Economics and Business).
